An Old-Fashioned Christmas Exhibit

Since 2011, the yuletide display “An Old-Fashioned Christmas” has been a beloved tradition of Cape May MAC’s festive holiday season. Hosted at the Carroll Gallery on the grounds of the 1879 Emlen Physick Estate, this charming exhibit has welcomed thousands of holiday visitors, both young and old, who make it a part of their annual Christmas celebration. Step into Christmas past beneath the boughs of a giant Christmas tree where you’ll see a Department 56 Dickens Village, model trains, nostalgic photos from Christmas past, excerpts from “A Christmas Carol” and much more.

"Let's Catch Santa" Holiday Play
at Cape May Stage

This heartwarming dramatic comedy takes place on Christmas Eve. When a young woman new to the neighborhood attempts to return a misdelivered package, she meets her elderly neighbor for the first time. What begins as a simple favor turns into an unexpected adventure as she discovers his one holiday wish: to catch Santa Claus. This heart-warming play brings two lonely souls together, to find family in each other, truth within themselves and the fun, child-like belief in the timeless magic of Santa, Christmas and the holiday season! Cape May Stage is a Professional Equity Theater. Full of laughter, love, and a little holiday mischief, this show is best enjoyed by adults and those ages 13 and up.

Angelus Chorus Free Holiday Concert

The Angelus Chorus, a South Jersey Shore community singing group of 70 voices, invites you to any of their free holiday concert at the Cape May Convention Hall. No Tickets or Reservations Required.

Come out to Rea’s Farm to enjoy a tasty dinner (at a reasonable price!) in the heated barn. Bottles also available for purchase from Cape May Winery and Obscura Brewery.

Enjoy Classic American Tales’ Artistic Director Gayle Stahlhuth as she presents Zona Gale’s “A Great Tree” at 6 pm & O. Henry’s “The Gift of the Magi” at 7:30 pm. No tickets or advanced reservations required.

NIC+DESI sing, dance, and share their love story in this high-energy celebration of Broadway and holiday favorites! After standout turns on Broadway and national tours, Nicolas Dromard and Desireé Davar created this dynamic duo act to bring their passion for song and dance to audiences everywhere. Enjoy Great American Songbook classics, hits from JERSEY BOYS, WEST SIDE STORY, MARY POPPINS, and WICKED, plus reimagined holiday favorites.

Free Movie: Holiday Affair

Get into the holiday spirit with this charming romantic classic starring Janet Leigh and Robert Mitchum. Set against the twinkling lights of Christmastime in New York, “Holiday Affair” is a heartwarming tale of unexpected love, second chances, and the magic of the season.

Start a new tradition this holiday season! Take a break from shopping and take time to enjoy this classic holiday movie on the big screen. This is a free movie event at Cape May Stage on Tuesday, December 16, at 6 pm. Donations will be collected for the Cape May Community Food Closet. 

No reservations required. All seating will be first come, first served.

The Muppet Christmas Carol Movie

Saturday, December 13 at the Clemans Theater for the Arts

The legendary Michael Caine stars as Scrooge with The Muppets, as they put their spin on the classic tale of a Christmas-hating miser who is visited by spirits. They foretell his future and share secrets from his past and present, which helps change his view on life.

Hosted by East Lynne Theater at the Clemans Theater for the Arts.

Cookies, Cocoa & Caroling

Wednesday, December 17 from 6 pm to 8 pm

Join Equality Cape May for a cozy evening of holiday cheer at the Inn of Cape May on Wednesday, December 17 from 6–8 PM!

Sip hot cocoa, enjoy delicious cookies, and sing your favorite holiday songs with live piano accompaniment.

This event is FREE and open to the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies. All are welcome!

John Walter Brass Quintet Holiday Concert

The John Walter Brass Quintet will be performing a free holiday concert at the Cape May Lutheran Church. All are welcome. Music will include a wide variety of Christmas and holiday songs.

Cape May Jazz Vespers - Cartoon Christmas Trio

Make plans to hear the Cape May Jazz Vespers at the Cape May Presbyterian Church and enjoy a festive afternoon of holiday music! The Cartoon Christmas Trio will be playing the music you know and love from your favorite cartoon Christmas specials! Guaranteed to brighten your day!!
